Court Reservations
Court reservations are included in your membership. Reservations are for members only and there is no additional charge. Reservations may be taken up to seven days in advance. To schedule, call 704 366-5007.
Tennis Clinics
Our professional staff offers a variety of clinics to improve your game, no matter your level of play. From preschoolers to teens, adult beginners to advanced players ready for high intensity drills, we will help you acquire new skills, and have fun doing it! Recently retired? *Please note that there is an annual non-member administrative fee for participation in programs and services at the Levine JCC. The fee is $20/individual and $35/family.
Please be aware that all tennis lessons are good for only one year from the date of purchase. Clients must provide 24-hour cancellation notice to avoid possible charges to their lesson package.
Junior Team Tennis
Our Junior Teams are for ages 7 to 18. Team matches are played on Sunday afternoons between 1-4pm (schedule based on age.) All teams require players to be members of the USTA. Team practices are strongly encouraged for all team members. Team fee includes team registration, balls for home matches, and weekly updates.
All practices prepare students for USTA and school team play. To participate in practices, students must either be part of the corresponding Junior Team or have the approval of the tennis pros to enroll (or in case of Quick Start 10 and Under, must have completed at least 2 sessions of Rookie tennis). Non-members welcome for practices.
Queen City Team
Our team is for members only, ages 18+. Practice and match dates and times vary per team. Queen City offers seasonal play in the spring, summer, fall and winter. Each season's play is for 6 to 9 weeks. If you are interested in competitive tennis, this option could be for you.
Leagues & Ladders
Our leagues and ladders are for members only, age 18+. We offer Evening Doubles Leagues for men (USTA rated 2.5 – 3.5) and women (USTA rated 2.5 – 4.0). Ladies Fall Doubles League (NTRP 2.5 and up) is available on a drop-in basis. For our 2010 Women’s Doubles Ladder (September thru March), participants must register individually but have a partner. Bi-monthly updates are provided for all ladder participants, as well as flexible match scheduling, and competitive matches.
Ball Machine Rental
This equipment is for members only. Reservations may be made by calling 704-366-5007 any day after 11am. A tutorial is required before first use. Call our tennis department at 704-944-6748 to schedule your tutorial. You must be 16+ years old to reserve the ball machine. Members may sign-up for unlimited useage for $120/yr (Jan-Dec '10, prorated). The regular fee: $14/hr
