At the Levine JCC, Kehilah (Community) is more than a concept — it's a core value at the heart of all we do.
JBORHOOD is designed to bring together like-minded members to share fun experiences, spark new friendships, and create lasting memories.
These volunteer-led mini-communities will gather both inside and outside the J, coming together for interest-based events and activities inspired by the members themselves.
Whether you're looking to try something new, deepen relationships, or simply feel more connected, JBORHOOD invites you to find your people and build your J Family—one meaningful moment at a time.

Inaugural micro-communities:

New Roots, Deep Roots: Experience CLT – A group for newcomers and long-timers alike to explore Charlotte’s culture, history, neighborhoods, and food scene.

Empty Nesters – From Nest to Best – A welcoming social group where empty nesters can connect, relax and create fun, interest-based activities together.
