Class emphasizes technique and choreography, as well as Cane & Veil dance and Zill (finger symbols) techniques. Soft shoes, comfortable dancewear and exercise mats, plus zills and veil required.

Beginners Class - This class is for beginners without any prior clay experience. Learn to throw on the potter's wheel or enhance your throwing skills. Introduces basic hand building techniques such as coiling, joined slabs & drape molds, as well as glazing and other surface design possibilities. 

All Level Classes - These classes are for beginners without any prior clay experience OR for students with prior knowledge who want to advance their skills. Learn to throw on the potter's wheel or enhance your throwing skills. Introduces basic hand building techniques such as coiling, joined slabs & drape molds, as well as glazing and other surface design possibilities. Classes may vary slightly by instructor.    

Intermediate Classes - These classes are for the intermediate level student in hand building and/or wheel throwing.  For the wheel throwers, prior knowledge of centering and basic throwing skills is required. These classes are geared to improving and refining your techniques while developing your own personal style. AM or PM classes available. Classes may vary slightly by instructor.   

All classes are in our fully equipped Ceramics Studio. Fees include 25 lbs. of clay, use of electric kiln, glazes/underglazes, shelf space, and unlimited independent studio time when studio is not in use.

Private lessons are offered to students ages 6 – Adult.  Lessons are 30 or 60 minutes, as individual lessons or a package of four or eight lessons. Individual lessons arranged with instructor.

Theatre at the J is happy to announce auditions for our Spring Teen Production, The SpongeBob Musical: Youth Edition.

Auditions are open to 5^th graders through 12^th graders of all ethnicities, identities and abilities.

Rehearsal Dates:
Rehearsals will start on April 3^rd and will primarily be held on Thursday evenings and Sunday afternoons.  

Performance Dates:
Saturday, May 31^st at 2pm and 5pm and Sunday, June 1^st at 2pm
