Children enrolling in preschool programs (ages 3-5) must be fully potty-trained. The LJCC reserves the right to cancel enrollment, with no refund, for any child who is not fully potty-trained.

If a course you wish to register for no longer has capacity, you may contact the Customer Service Center at 704.366.5007 and request to be placed on a waitlist. Should space become available, you will then be contacted. 

ARE YOU A GUEST OR PROGRAMMING PARTICIPANT ONLY?

If you are a Community Participant (program participant or guest) NEW to the Levine JCC, please ensure you fill out the Community Account Form before filling out a waiver.  If you are already in our computer system, there’s no need to complete another Community Account Form.  You are likely in our system already if you have been a prior member, participated in programming or private lessons, or visited the Levine JCC in the past two years.  If you are unsure and/or need credentials to register, please call the Customer Service Center at 704-366-5007.

Enrollment Information

• Programs are subject to a minimum and maximum enrollment

• Programs & classes are subject to change – please check with the LJCC Customer Service Center when registering

• In order to receive membership pricing on JCC programs, members need to remain on membership through the duration of the program

Kosher Policy

Shalom Park is a Kosher facility. Only Kosher-certified meats are permitted (beef, poultry, veal, lamb, etc.) All are expected to adhere to this policy. The following products are not permitted:

• Pork products (includes bacon, ham, lard, etc.)
• Shellfish/scavenger fish (includes shrimp, lobster, crab, etc.)
• Eating dairy/milk and meat products together 

Levine JCC Transfer Policy

• The transfer program is courtesy of the Levine JCC. Not all courses are eligible for transfers.

• The Charlotte Jewish Preschool (CJP) is currently permitting two way transfers to the Levine JCC for courses beginning at 1:15pm and additionally for swim courses beginning at 2:30pm and 3:30pm. The Levine JCC will now return full day students to CJP. This policy is subject to modification at any time. Charlotte Jewish Day School (CJDS) allows transfers to the Levine JCC at 3:00pm only for after-school courses beginning at 3:00pm, 3:15pm, or 3:30pm. There are no CJDS transfers after Study Hall.

• There are no transfers back to CJP after any 3:30pm preschool swim session. Please pick up at the LJCC Indoor Pool.

• JTEAM may be transferred to courses beginning at 3:15pm.

• After enrollment, please check confirmation email for child transfer forms (one per CJP/CJDS child per school year.) 

Program Cancellation and Withdrawal Policy

• If a course is canceled by the LJCC prior to the start of the first class, you may receive 100% credit on your account or a full refund.

• If the registrant withdraws prior to the start of the course, you may receive 100% credit on your account, or a refund less a 20% administrative fee.

• If the registrant withdraws after the first class of the course, you may receive a prorated amount credited to your account, or a refund of the prorated amount less a 20% administrative fee.

• If the registrant withdraws after the second class, no credits or refunds are permitted.

• No refunds nor account credits will be applied for absences due to vacation or illness.

• Programming credits MAY ONLY be used for programs and services provided by the JCC. Programming credits MAY NOT be used for membership dues.

• For all Year Round programs at the Levine JCC, 30 days’ notice is required for cancellation of monthly payment. 

• Certain programs utilize outside vendors and specialists for their classes and have different cancellation policies. Please refer to the course description to verify the cancellation policy.
