We are excited to inform you of an important enhancement to the Foundation of Shalom Park building security procedures, estimated to go into effect mid- to late-August. This change is being implemented to further enhance the safety and security of our premises for our members, guests, and staff.
What's Changing?
The enhancement to the Foundation of Shalom Park’s security measures introduces a new system for screening for entry into the building.

Each person will enter through the newly modified security rotunda where facial comparison will be used to verify admission. Facial comparison is a closed system that uses one-to-one verification, matching the person to the photo on file in our system.

The Outdoor Aquatics Entrance will remain open through the end of the outdoor pool season (September 7th) for the convenience of our members who utilize the outdoor pools. The Outdoor Aquatics Entrance will reopen May, 2026.

This new process allows for greater access control into the building itself and currently will not replace your scan card for access to the Levine JCC facilities.
Why the Change?
Safety and security are a top priority for the Foundation of Shalom Park. This enhanced system will provide a more secure and efficient entry experience, allowing the Foundation of Shalom Park to better monitor access and ensure a safe environment for everyone.
What You Need to Do:
To ensure a smooth transition, it’s important you have a current photo that will be uploaded to the new security system. Note: children under the age of 9 do not require a photo for entry.
Please stop by the kiosk that is set up in the new membership offices so that an account can be set up in the new security system and a current photo can be obtained.
We understand that changes can sometimes require adjustment, and we appreciate your cooperation and patience in making this transition as seamless as possible. Our staff will be available at the main entrance during the initial implementation period to assist you with any questions or issues.
