The Levine JCC Art & Culture Department believes strongly in the power of arts education, which is why we offer a variety of classes, as well as live performances.

From dance, to creative drama, and visual arts, the Levine JCC Arts community offers safe, inclusive, and age-appropriate artistic opportunities to hone skills and express yourself creatively. Dance & Art Classes

Preschool Tap and Ballet: 3–5 year olds: Info Sheet

Preschool Jazz/Tumble: 3–5 year olds: Info Sheet

Preschool Theatre: 3–5 year olds:
Children will explore the magical world of storytelling through drama, movement, and creative play.

Belly Dance All Levels:
Class emphasizes technique and choreography, as well as Cane & Veil dance and Zill (finger symbols) techniques.

Foundations of Belly Dance:
Classes are focused on foundational technique, combinations, and concepts of Belly Dance.

Music Lessons

Offered to ages 6 - adults.

VOICE, BASIC PIANO & ACTING

Mirela Ungureanu-Biser holds a Master’s Degree in Opera and Music Theatre. She has more than 10 years of teaching experience including college-level courses as well as music theatre courses for both adults and youth at a professional repertory theater. She also performed as a singer with Opera Memphis for six seasons.
