Shalom Green and LJCC Cares present 2040, a documentary that looks to the future but is vitally important now. Motivated by concerns about the planet that director Damon Gameau’s 4-year-old daughter would inherit, Damon embarked on a global journey to meet innovators and changemakers to identify the best environmental solutions available to us now. From marine permaculture to decentralized renewable energy projects, people all over the world are taking matters into their own hands. This is a story of hope that looks at the very real possibility that humanity could reverse global warming and improve the lives of every living thing in the process.
