The Levine JCC Art & Culture Department believes strongly in the power of arts education, which is why we offer a variety of art, music and voice classes, as well as live performances.

From dance, to creative drama, and visual arts, the Levine JCC Arts community offers safe, inclusive, and age-appropriate artistic opportunities to hone skills and express yourself creatively. Dance & Art Classes

Preschool Tap and Ballet: 3–5 year olds: Info Sheet

Preschool Jazz/Tumble: 3–5 year olds: Info Sheet

Preschool Theatre: 3–5 year olds:
Children will explore the magical world of storytelling through drama, movement, and creative play.

Belly Dance All Levels:
Class emphasizes technique and choreography, as well as Cane & Veil dance and Zill (finger symbols) techniques.

Foundations of Belly Dance:
Classes are focused on foundational technique, combinations, and concepts of Belly Dance.

VOICE, BASIC PIANO & ACTING

Mirela Ungureanu-Biser holds a Master’s Degree in Opera and Musical Theatre. With over 25 years of experience, her background spans university-level instruction, professional repertory theater, and six seasons with Opera Memphis. From beginners to Blumey Award nominees, she excels at helping students achieve technical excellence and unshakeable stage confidence.
