Jewish Family Services
For over 25 years, Jewish Family Services has been committed to preserving and strengthening the quality of life for individuals and families. Through social services, counseling, and volunteer programs, JFS provides the Jewish Community in Charlotte with vital support from birth to the elderly. JFS consistently strive to create and deliver programs and services that are effective, innovative, as well as promote human dignity, enhance self-sufficiency and reflect enduring values of Jewish tradition.
B'nai B'rith Youth Organization
BBYO is the oldest and largest pluralistic Jewish youth group that provides meaningful experiences for Jewish high school teens. Charlotte BBYO has over 150 members, with two AZA and two BBG chapters. For more information about BBYO, please contact Erin Goldstein at [email protected].
Charlotte Jewish Preschool
The Charlotte Jewish Preschool is a Jewish preschool with extended day options. CJP offers an age-appropriate preschool program with Judaic content integrated into the daily curriculum for children ages one to five. CJP runs on a 9 month calendar year. The CJP Half Day program runs from 9 AM - 1 PM and there are a variety of programs to choose from. The CJP Full Day program is from 7 AM - 6 PM and shares the year with the JCC's Camp Katan to provide year round coverage for working parents.

The Jewish Preschool on Sardis preschool is a 5 star preschool. JPS listens, guides and helps children make sense of their ever changing world. JPS is a place where each child's individual style of learning and developing is valued and nurtured. JPS is a place that fosters a natural love and appreciation for Judaism.
Congregation Ohr HaTorah
Charlotte's Welcoming Orthodox Synagogue A traditional synagogue that offers a welcoming atmosphere for all Jewish people, regardless of their background or affiliation. Daily Shabbat Services.
Charlotte Jewish Day School
Charlotte Jewish Day School provides a nurturing and stimulating Jewish environment for students in grades K-5. CJDS supports individuality through small class sizes and a general studies and Judaic curriculum that is designed to accommodate different modes of learning. CJDS offers classes in grades Junior Kindergarten through eighth grade.
Center for Jewish Education (CJE)
The Center for Jewish Education (CJE) enhances community engagement, promotes lifelong Jewish learning, and creates pathways to Jewish identity. Through cutting-edge educational practice and in collaboration with regional agencies, synagogues and schools, the CJE serves as a community educational resource, and develops and implements creative, innovative, and sound educational strategies. CJE plans programs that enhance educational quality, accessibility, and participation in our community’s formal and informal Jewish educational systems. The CJE houses the Levine-Sklut Judaic Library and the Blumenthal Educator Resource Center, located in Shalom Park.
Havurat Tikvah
A member of the Jewish Reconstructionist Federation, is a circle of friends, located in Charlotte, North Carolina, who get together for fellowship, Jewish worship and study, and sharing joy and sorrow. Havurat Tikvah is a diverse group of singles, Jewish and interfaith couples, children and adults of various ages and stages. As someone once described: "The Havurah is like being with all your favorite relatives."

Temple Kol Tikvah 
Based in Lake Norman, NC and serves the Jewish Community of North Mecklenburg, South Iredell & surrounding counties.

Charlotte Jewish News
The Charlotte Jewish News is a monthly (except July) publication dedicated to informing, representing, and engaging the Greater Charlotte Jewish community. The CJN reports on news and upcoming events of the local Jewish agencies, accomplishments of the members of the local Jewish community, and stories about Jewish holidays and events in Charlotte, the U.S., and Israel. The CJN is affiliated with the Jewish Federation of Greater Charlotte and operates as a nonprofit organization under the Federation’s 501(c)(3).

The Charlotte Torah Center
The Charlotte Torah Center is a hub for Jewish learning and an Orthodox synagogue where all are welcome and everyone belongs.
