Do you feel like you cannot exercise enough (or hate it) to feel how you expect to feel? Have you felt confused, concerned, or scared by a medical diagnosis and prescription? Do you feel overwhelmed for believing you ‘should’ change your diet, lose/gain weight, exercise more, sleep more, communicate better, get outside? And yet, you need accountability? 

My role is to partner with and guide clients through overall, successful lifestyle changes. During each session we will focus on nutrition and personal well-being. I will assist in helping find foods and lifestyle practices that are right for your body and desired goals.

“As a collegiate swimmer at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington I was challenged during daily workouts that were effective but not enjoyable because I did not have enough muscle strength to up my game. Through that experience I learned how important weight training was to achieving sprinting goals in the swimming pool. I now realize how vital muscle strength is to improving your quality of life and extending your life span! I believe fitness should be fun, tough, and evolving.”

“At age 31 I had an artificial disc placed in my cervical spine. I hadn’t suffered any impact injuries, I wasn’t playing contact sports, I was just a regular guy who’s back hurt all the time. Acupuncture, inversion tables, massage, chiropractic care, traction therapy, all made me feel temporarily better, but the pain always returned. Through Foundation Training practice I learned the most effective way to move my body, restoring natural movement patterns and unwinding the postural distortions that our modern lifestyles create. I am deeply passionate about this work because I have seen the tremendous impact it has had on so many lives.”

“I have always used exercise to pull me through life. I have been in fitness over 30 years. I started running track during my younger school years and then after joining a local gym, my passion grew from there. That particular gym did not have a group exercise program so I asked the owner to let me start one - a year later it grew to the point that the owner needed a bigger facility. I love being a personal trainer and helping my clients find that they can overcome obstacles and find success. Both physically and mentally. Exercise has helped me through so much in life including bad days fighting cancer. Exercise has enabled me to respond to any situation with grace and strength.”
