Summer Camps

The Mindy Ellen Levine Day Camp, located on a lush 54-acre campus in the heart of South Charlotte, is the Levine JCC's premier traditional day camp. We believe that a summer camp experience can have positive and lasting benefits for your child. Through making friends, participating in an array of activities, learning new skills, being outdoors, and experiencing Judaism, camp becomes a magical place where campers have fun, grow and feel good about who they are.

Performing & Visual Arts Camp: 2nd- 8th Grade 

Involvement in the arts boosts self-confidence, communication skills, critical thinking, and creates memories and friendships that last a lifetime.

Professional instructors will work with campers on learning and improving their music, dance, acting and improvisation skills along with providing time for other activities including fine arts and creative play.Our rising 6th-8th graders will also be introduced to the world of podcasting and will get to create their own podcast! There will also be an optional free swim period each day

Both sessions will culminate in a musical theatre production starring all of our campers!

Summer Sports Camps

Whether you are looking to improve your skills, sharpen your game or gain a competitive edge, you'll have fun in the supportive, nurturing environment of the Levine JCC of Charlotte Sports Camps. All of our sports-related camps offer skill development in a fun, supportive atmosphere.  Our facilities are second to none and our camp staff are among the most experienced instructors in Charlotte.  Your child will be sure to have a memorable experience! 

Specialty Sports Camps: 1st - 10th Grade (Full Day: 9am - 4pm)

Important Summer Camp Registration Terms and Conditions: 

• If you register for Summer Camp as a Community Participant, the Community Pricing will remain in effect regardless of a subsequent change in membership status (i.e. becoming a member after registering for camp.)
• To be eligible for Summer Camp Member Pricing you must be a member at the time of camp registration and remain an LJCC member through your child's last day of camp or Community Pricing will be applied.
• The cut-off date for a family who has not yet registered for Summer Camp but would like to become an LJCC Member and receive Camp Member Pricing is March 1, 2024. This ONLY applies to families who have not yet registered for camp.

• A non-refundable deposit of $400 is due at enrollment. Completed registration paperwork must accompany deposit. Deposits are applied towards camp tuition. Payment options include cash, check or credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express).All camp transactions charged by credit card will be subject to a 1.5% processing fee.This fee will not be assessed to ACH or debit card transactions. Camp fees must be paid in full by June 5, 2024.
