The Language Academy of the Carolinas, Inc. offers its award-winning adult Spanish, French, Italian, and Portuguese classes at the Levine JCC. They work in small groups of 4-8 people and teach you how to converse in the language. There are no tests and no grades, and everything is conducted almost entirely in the language to create an immersive experience for the participants. Reading, writing and listening comprehension are all emphasized as tools to enhance your ability to speak. You MUST bring a 2026 official Mah Jongg card to this class.

Enjoy dedicated time to create in a welcoming and inspiring studio environment! This 6-week class is designed for students to work on their own individual projects at their own pace, whether you're painting, experimenting with mixed media, or continuing a piece you've already started. Each participant will receive personalized instruction and guidance from the instructor throughout each class, making this a great fit for all experience levels. All supplies included, such as acrylic paint, watercolor, collage materials, brushes, paper and mixed media supplies.
